Erwin van Lambaart joined Holland Casino as CEO on 7 March 2016. Erwin has a great deal of experience in the media, hospitality, event, marketing en entertainment sectors. After graduating from the Hotel School in The Hague, he worked for almost 15 years in the international hotel sector. After this, he moved on to the international live entertainment world, where he worked for another 15 years. Erwin van Lambaart held a series of top executive and management board positions at Accor, Avis, Joop van den Ende Theatre Productions, Stage Entertainment International and Niehe Media. In 2014/2015, he was CEO of SAIL Event Partner and in that capacity was responsible for the largest public and business-to-business event in Europe: SAIL Amsterdam. Erwin van Lambaart’s career has always been marked by a keen focus on hospitality and conceptual development. In 2016, he was awarded a Knighthood in the Order of Orange Nassau for his services to the live entertainment industry and his efforts on behalf of numerous charitable organisations.
Catherine is an International Leadership and Organisational Consultant at Mannaz. She started out in life as a commercial lawyer, with a first degree in law before qualifying as a solicitor. It was her fascination with what distinguished her more successful clients that led to her later requalifying as an organisational psychologist and she has a MSc. (distinction) from the University of Hertfordshire. She is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society and certified to use many approved psychometric tests, including MBTI, 16PF, OPP, Belbin, Firo B and Hogan. Catherine has over 20 years’ experience facilitating the learning and development of organisations, individuals and groups across all business sectors as well as internationally. During this time, she has developed collaborative relationships with many other providers such as Tomorrow’s Company, CEDR and Cranfield School of Management where she is a Visiting Fellow.

He is a culture change expert and a management consultant with over 25 years’ experience in culture transformation, change management, leadership development and business improvement. Matt Bothner is Professor of Strategy and the Deutsche Telekom Chair in Leadership and HR Development at the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin. He received the Mario Rese Best Teacher Award from ESMT’s Executive MBA program in 2014.
He taught previously at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he has received the Faculty Excellence Aware for Teaching, as well as the Hillel J. Einhorn Award for Excellence in Teaching from the University of Chicago’s EMBA programs in London and Singapore.
His research, which uses mathematical and statistical models to study social networks, has been published in top social science journals, including Management Science, American Journal of Sociology, and Administrative Science Quarterly where he is an editorial board member. He has taught on-site for several companies, including Abbott Labs, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom, Daimler, E.ON, Fidelity Investments, General Electric, and Lufthansa.
Matt received his PhD with distinction from the Department of Sociology at Columbia University in New York. He is married and the father of 17-year old daughter.
Gianluca Carnabuci joined ESMT Berlin in 2016 as an associate professor of organizational behaviour. Previously he was an associate professor of organization and management at the University of Lugano and an assistant professor at Bocconi University. He holds a PhD in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Amsterdam.
His research interests revolve around the analysis of inter- and intra-organizational networks, with particular regard to the generation and recombination of technological knowledge.
He has taught or teaches courses in Organization Theory, Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Design and Change, Networks and Organizations, Knowledge and Organization, Human Resource Management, Negotiation, and Leadership.
